The Council of Public Prosecutors have decided to wait for Janeva again

-

The Council of Public Prosecutors have again postponed the session for reviewing the report on the six-month work by the Special Public Prosecutor Katica Janeva. The reason for the delay this time was again, the absence of Janeva.

“After an open discussion among members of the Council, we have come to the conclusion that it is necessary that the Special Prosecutor, Katica Janeva appears at the session, to clarify ambiguities that we have found in the report. Today we will again send a written invitation to her to come to the next scheduled session on Monday at 11:00 am”, said President of the Council of Public Prosecutors, Peter Anevski.

He again did not respond to journalists’ questions about what the ambiguities in the report were, and what the council would do if Janeva failed to appear on Monday.

Regarding about the case “Magyar Telecom”, Mr Anevski said that the issue will be reviewed at a future meeting.
