Assembly decided: Police is allowed to use rubber bullets

On yesterday’s parliamentary session, MPs passed amendments to the Law on Police, which allows the use of rubber bullets in cases of violence on protests and public gatherings.

The amendments, except the use of rubber bullets, also project the use of electric paralyzers and shock bombs.

With the new amendments to the law, police will have the authority to record, i.e. perform video surveillance of the citizens’ actions, and it would use the recordings in case the citizens complain that it was illegally act on them.
