The Russian president Vladimir Putin said that the Kremlin is closely following the situation in Macedonia and that Macedonia’s stability is in the interest of Russia.
Putin in Moscow today received credentials of 13 new ambassadors, including the Macedonian diplomat Goce Karajanov.
– Deep historical roots, cultural and spiritual closeness, that’s what connects Russia with the Republic of Macedonia. We closely follow the current development of the situation and we are witnessing the difficulties facing the Macedonian leadership. Russia supports Macedonia’s leaders and their efforts to normalize the political situation in the country. Our interest is stable and prosperous Macedonia – said the Russian president receiving the credentials.
