Poll: Pendarovski increases his lead by 3.7% ahead of Siljanovska

Presidential candidate for the SDSM and DUI parties, Stevo Pendarovski is leading in the polls (27.2%), and is ahead of VMRO-DPMNE candidate Gordana Siljanovska Dakovska (23.5%), ie a difference of 3.7% points. This proves the view that it is a fair race, even though in the meantime, Pendarovski, according to a previous poll increased his lead from 2.6% to 3.7%.

The results came from a poll conducted by the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC) and the Institute for Democracy “Societas Civilis” (IDSCS) Skopje at the request of Telma TV.

Support for Blerim Reka, a candidate for the Alliance for Albanians and Besa, stands at 11% of the respondents, which is almost identical to that of the previous poll in the middle of last month.

Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova has greater support among ethnic Macedonians (32.6%) than Stevo Pendarovski (28.6%). Pendarovski has more support among ethnic Albanians (20.5%) than Siljanovska-Davkova (0.4%). Support for Pendarovski among ethnic Albanians is higher by 5.3% compared to the previous poll. The majority of ethnic Albanians said they would vote for candidate Blerim Reka (41.6%).

In this poll, as in the previous one, the majority of the respondents (68.1%) said they would vote, and slightly less than a quarter (22.5%) said they would not cast their votes.

Compared to the previous poll, the percentage of those who will certainly vote, 37.2% has increased to 41.8%, and the percentage of those who will certainly not vote in the elections stands at 18.3% compared to the previous 20.4%.
