New 347 COVID-19 cases, 7 deaths and 168 recoveries in North Macedonia

The newest data provided by the Health Ministry of North Macedonia shows that in the last 24 hours, 2.383 tests were performed and 347 new COVID-19 cases were registered in the following cities: Skopje – 157, Prilep – 35, Kavadarci – 26, Ohrid -19, Kumanovo – 14, Štip and Negotino – 13, Tetovo – 12, Gevgelija – 10, Veles and Kruševo- 6, Bitola, Gostivar and Delchevo – 5, Struga, Debar, Kriva Palanka and Vinica – 3, Resen, Valandovo and Kratovo – 2, Strumica, Kochani, and Makedonska Kamenica – 1.

In the past 24 hours, seven people died. Six died in hospitals and one died at home.

168 patients recovered from the disease.

Until now, a total of 492.374 COVID-19 tests were performed. The total number of COVID-19 diagnosed persons in North Macedonia since the outbreak of the pandemic is 97.803, and the number of patients who recovered is 88.469. 3.010 persons have died and the number of active cases has reached 6.324.

The process of inoculation against COIVD-19 in North Macedonia began on the 17th of February. The medical staff that works in the Clinic for Infectious Diseases received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine that was donated by Serbia. As was announced, in the next 7-10 days, all medical staff will receive the first dose.
