A total of 4026 certifications for expressed intention for applying for asylum from Asia and Africa have been issued in the past day and night, with the largest numbers of refugees from Syria, announced the Ministry of Interior.
The police also announced that 1,616 of the certificates are for males, 881 for females, 1,512 are for children who are accompanying a holder of a certificate, and 17 for children travelling without a parent.
Other than that, from June 19 until yesterday, a total of 373,303 confirmations have been issued to foreign nationals.
