MOI Has Dismissed Those Responsible For Provocation at the US Embassy and “Vault” Case

Today, Minister of Interior, Oliver Spasovski dismissed 11 managers from various sectors of the Ministry.

Senior sources from within the Interior Ministry confirmed for “Meta” that some of them have been dismissed over the incident involving the “Alfa” unit exercise near the US Embassy in Skopje and due to the investigation led by the Special Public Prosecutor, the “Vault” case.

Among those dismissed is Nebojsa Stajkovic, who the media reported as one of the suspects in a new investigation by the Special Public Prosecutor, the “Vault” case. From his position as assistant to the Minister of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, he was appointed as additional deputy assistant minister of the same department. Goran Trajanoski will take his place.

Ivica Anchevski-Puki has also been released of his duty, who was the head of the “Alfa” unit, whose team members on September 15 simulated a reaction in case of terrorist attack on the US Embassy, ​​without notifying the embassy. In addition to Puki, his superior, Chief of the SVR, Ivica Vuchevski was also dismissed.

 Primislav Dimovski will take Ivica Ancevski’s place, and Lazo Velkovski will replace Vuchevski.
