MOI: Four people called Ahmad Almohamed travelled through Macedonia!

Macedonian police registered four migrants with Syrian origin who transited across the country under the name Ahmad Almohamed, which is allegedly one of the identities of the perpetrators of the terrorist attacks in Paris last Friday, said the Ministry of Interior (MOI) informed “Meta”. They say that in all four cases, individuals had different details and possessed Greek documents but not passports.

“So far four people have been registered under the same name, all originating from Syria, all with different dates of birth and different dates and hours of entry in the country. Also, we learnt from the checks, that all four people who appear under this name and surname had the necessary Greek documents but no passport”, was the response of the Ministry of Interior to our questions.

Regarding the information published by the Greek newspaper “Protothema”, that apparently another person called Mohammed Almuhamed, was travelling along with Ahmad Almohamed, the Interior Ministry said they had no information on a person under that identity entering the Republic of Macedonia.

“In accordance with our records, it was determined that the person Almuhamed Mohammed has not been registered, and there is no evidence that he entered the Republic of Macedonia”, reads the statement from the Interior Ministry.
