The Head of the Public Prosecution of Macedonia, Marko Zvrlevski, once again confirmed that he is the last stronghold of Nikola Gruevski’s regime, say the Liberal Democratic party regarding yesterday’s statement by the Public Prosecution that an investigation was opened regarding former high-ranking officials of the Ministry of Interior and other persons in Skopje, Kumanovo, and Strumica, due to electoral irregularities.
The party said that with this move, Zvrlevski has confirmed the real picture of a “controlled judiciary and prosecution in Macedonia regarding the outgoing government” and “consciously or not” it simultaneously confirmed the “necessity of the existence and the continuation of the mandate of the Special Prosecutor’s Office”.
