From next week, all interested citizens of North Macedonia will be able to download the digital COVID pass in a mobile app on their devices. The Health Minister Venko Filipche, announcing this novelty, also said that the basic COVID certificate will be issued by the primary care physicians.
“It is a pass which digitally, through a QR code and mobile app, will offer three types of information – the vaccination dates for the first and second dose, the name of the vaccine, and the newest PCR test results and the information of the detected antibodies level, as a proof of recovery from the illness,” said Health Minister Filipche.
He said at the moment it is impossible to say what will the policies of the EU member countries regarding the Macedonian citizens who have received two doses of either the Chinese or the Russian vaccine against COVID-19 be.
