During today’s press conference, the Health Minister Venko Filipche informed that the Government will ask for another extension of the state of emergency.
He explained that this is important because it is necessary for the Government to have available mechanisms for the implementations of the proposals given by the Committee of Infectious Diseases.
– Part of the measures we are proposing will be valid for the state of emergency and it is important they should continue onward regarding restrictions and decrees – said Filipche.
Macedonia has been in a state of emergency for the past two months. in conditions when the Parlaiment is dissolved. President Stevo Pendarovski will have to extend it for the third time upon Government’s request.
