Grubi – Romeo: No law has been debated as much as the Law on the Use of Languages

No other law has been debated as much as the Law on the use of Languages and that is why the time has come to put an end to this issue in the next few days, and therefore, successfully completing the normative part of the Ohrid Agreement said the President of the Committee on European Affairs of the Assembly, Artan Grubi at the meeting with the Ambassador of Italy to Macedonia, Carlo Romeo.

“We should demonstrate the same courage in resolving the issues with the name dispute together,” said Grubi.

At the meeting, Grubi and Romeo discussed current events, emphasizing that the country’s priority is the EU reforms, which are necessary to remove the conditional recommendation for a date for the start of EU membership negotiations in the upcoming annual report of the European Commission in April.
