Galloway visits Shtip for meetings with mayor Bochvarski, students and representatives of the civil sector

The British Ambassador in Macedonia, Rachel Galloway visited Shtip today in order to meet the local community, the municipality including a visit to the Goce Delcev University where a lecture was planned with students on the subject of diplomacy.

As part of the visit to the Municipality and the mayor Blagoj Bochvarski was the visit to the multimedia center “Kiro Gligorov” dedicated to, as Ambassador Galloway said, to one of the greatest Macedonian leaders.

In a brief statement issued for the media, Galloway mentioned the education projects financed by the British government.

-One of the projects we would like to mention in the area of education is a project of early child development. We are working with kindergartens all over the state for the inclusion and improvement of the education conditions for the children and the other program is working with elementary schools where we are hoping to be able to allow the students to have better digital skills, to be better prepared for the new economic challenges and for Macedonia to have a better workforce of the labor market in the future – said Galloway.

Apart from the lecture at the Law faculty, Gallow will be meeting with representatives of the civil sector.
