The European People’s Party (EPP) on its official Twitter account, congratulated Hristijan Mickoski on his election as the new president of VMRO-DPMNE.
Yesterday, at the party’s Congress in Valandovo, Mickovski was elected as a new leader of the biggest opposition party VMRO-DPMNE and took over the position of Nikola Gruevski who was at the party’s helm since 2003. Out of 438 reported delegates at the Congress, 376 have voted for Mickoski’s election while 52 ballots were invalid.
