Today the Criminal Council of the Department for Organized Crime and Corruption of the Basic Court Skopje 1, dismissed the appeal from the Special Prosecutor’s Office and upheld the ruling brought by Judge Elena Josifovic, not to confiscate the passports of former Director of the Administration of Security and Counterintelligence (UBK) Saso Mijalkov, the former head of his cabinet, Toni Jakimovski and former Assistant Interior Minister, Nebojsa Stajkovic, the three suspects in the “Vault” case.

After hearing the of Mijalkov, Jakimovski and Stajkovic, Judge Josifovic rejected the SPO’s request for precautionary measures on the grounds that it was unfounded, and their passports were not confiscated.
