The Public Enterprise for State Roads is preparing detailed analyses for the extension of the deadline for the building of the Kichevo-Ohrid motorway. It is highly probable that the deadline will be breached for the second time since the contractor, the Chinese company Sinohidro, took the job to supposedly finish the construction of the motorway in the length of 57 km, worth €600 million.

The initial deadline for this motorway was extended for three and a half years i.e. by the 30th of June 2021.

So far, there is no other deadline for finishing the building of this expressway, but the Public Enterprise for State Roads informed Meta.mk that their expectations are that the third section of the road, in the length of 11.5 km, from the new tunnel at Preseka to Pesochani, to be put into use by the end of 2021.
