Мedical personnel from the Military Medical Center, consisting of 12 doctors and 20 nurses, today began working in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Clinical Center in Skopje, where there are several COVID-19 wards, informs the Health Ministry.
Since the emergency situation was declared, apart from medical personnel, the Army, as an unarmed force, provides support for the police at the COVID-19 centers throughout the country. On Friday, through the Ministry of Defense, the Health Ministry was provided with 10.000 rapid coronavirus tests, a donation from the Kingdom of Norway. At the beginning of this month, the Army also provided five ambulances as support in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
