The results of the Institute for Public Health and the confirmation of the correctness of drinking water from the city water supply in Shtip are expected today. Meanwhile, the water is restricted for drinking and can only be used as industrial water for the fourth day.
“The big storm flooded wells, from which the citizens of Shtip are supplied with drinking water. Water is bacteriologically and chemically correct, but it is mudded,” announced representatives of PE “Isar”.
Water tanks are circling the city, and a donation with bottled water was also provided.
As of today, teams of the Municipality of Shtip are on the field and are performing inventory and recording the damage from the storm. The biggest damage was suffered by residents of Lakavica region, where there are flooded homes and plantations.
Residents say that the damage is greater than 90 percent.
