The President of Republic of Macedonia, Gjorge Ivanov, congratulated Donald Trump after being elected as a President of the United States of America.
“Let me, on behalf of the citizens of Macedonia and on my personal behalf, to extend my sincere congratulations on your election as President of the United States of America , and wish you success in carrying out his responsible. The Republic of Macedonia attaches great importance to the strategic partnership with the United States of America, and effort for its commitment to further strengthening a special interest for Macedonia and its citizens. You are at the helm of your country at a time when the world is marked by safety upheavals, global challenges, and chaos. These challenges unavoidably reflect on the countries in Southeastern Europe including the Republic of Macedonia”, Ivanov further stated.
During the 25 years of independence and sovereignty, as the note further states, the Republic of Macedonia has faced unjust and unethical blockade on our path to our European and North Atlantic destination.
