The meeting between the four members of the ad hoc body and the Director of the Agency of Audio and Audiovisual Media Services, Zoran Trajchevski came to an end.

The temporary body which is meant to regulate the work of the media during the election campaign, will not officially disclose whether they reached an agreement at today’s meeting.

Cvetin Chilimanov, a member of the ad hoc body who was proposed by the VMRO-DPMNE, posted on his “Facebook” page that tomorrow afternoon they will meet again.

“To all interested colleagues, the next ad hoc meeting will be tomorrow at 12:00 noon”, posted Chilimanov.

Unofficially, we discovered that the fifth member who has to be Albanian, was not selected, and at tomorrow’s meeting, there will only be consultations.

Yesterday, the deadline expired for the selection of the fifth member of the ad hoc body, who are meant to control the media during the election campaign.

This morning, the VMRO-DPMNE and the SDSM through press statements accused each other, for the failure of the ad hoc body. The VMRO-DPMNE said that the SDSM are scared of the elections, while the opposition accused the ruling party of not wanting Macedonia to have a free and independent media.
