The Ministry of Transport and Communications announced today that for the railroad and traffic infrastructure it has provided 127, 2 million of euros out of which 108, 1 million are assets from the IPA 2 program, and 19, 1 million euros were provided from Republic of Macedonia’ budget.
A total number of 71, 5 euros should be utilized for building a part of the third phase of the railroad towards Bulgaria i.e. the section Kriva Palanka – border crossing Deve Bair, and 48,7 million of euros for building the second phase of the express line Gradsko -Prilep i.e. the section Gradsko – Drenovo.
The second part of the assets will be used for reconstructing the section Kumanovo – Rankovce including the building of a third lane in the section Pletvar towards Gradsko – Prilep including the replacement of protection fences along the “Friendship” highway, in the length of 100 km.
