The Ministry of Interior announced that its Sector for Computer Crime and Digital Forensics has documented and processed 30 cases where state officials’ safety was jeopardized on the social networks or their personal data was misused.
Notifications were sent for all cases to the Basic Public Prosecution in order to investigate whether those are criminal acts that should be intervened about.
Among those cases are six threats uttered to Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and one person was revealed that it has issued threats. This was done in cooperation with Facebook, the office of Interpol and an internet provider in Switzerland. Moi said that the suspect will be charged.
