All measuring stations show very high levels of pollution

At 6 pm, all units around the country showed very high levels of air pollution. In Skopje, the amount of PM10 particles was 257 micrograms per cubic meter, which is more than five times the acceptable 50 micrograms.

There is an enormous concentration of these particles in Skopje municipalities Centar, Lisiche, Gazi Baba, as well as the measuring station Rektorat. On the website for measurement of air quality reads that the instrument for measuring PM10 particles in the station Karposh is off due to technical problems.

There is also very high air pollution in Miladinovci, Kichevo, Tetovo, Veles, Kochani and Kavadarci, where the level of PM10 particles is above the allowed level. Also, very high levels of PM2.5 particles is registered in Centar and Karposh, while very high level of carbon monoxide was registered in Lisiche.
