Polls: VMRO DPMNE leads against SDSM by 0.8 %, and Gruevski leads against Zaev by 1 %

If the elections would have been organized tomorrow, 24,5 % of citizens would have voted for VMRO-DPMNE, and 23,7% for SDSM, show the results of the last polls organized by Telma TV and the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCMS).

According to the results of the polls, 8,5% of the citizens would be voting for DUI, 3,7% for Besa and 1,8% would be voting for the Alliance of the Albanians, and 0,9 % would have voted for DPA.

35% of the citizens didn’t provide any answer while 13,1 % didn’t want to reveal for whom they would have cast their votes for, 10, 8% have said that they didn’t know, and 10, 3 have said that they wouldn’t vote for any party.

As for the ratings of the political parties, when asked which politician deserves the greatest trust, 25, 8 have decided for the leader of VMRO-DPMNE Nikola Gruevski and 24, 8 % for SDSM’s leader Zoran Zaev.

The president of the state, Gjorge Ivanov has the support of 9% of the citizens, and he is followed by DUI’s president Ali Ahmeti with 6.1 %. The leader of the Alliance of Albanians, Zijadin Sela has the support of 3.6% of citizens, Bilal Kasami of Besa has the support of 3% while 14.8 % have stated that they don’t trust any of the politicians.

The survey was carried out by a telephone, after the violence at the Parliament of Republic of Macedonia, in the period between 10-15th of May, on 1.000 adults. It was carried out by “M-Prospect” agency on request by Telma and MCMS.
