Muslims protest due to the publication of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad

More than 800,000 people attended the protest in central Grozny for protection of Muslim values, attended also by Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, announced the Russian Ministry for Internal Affairs today.
At the protest “Love for the Prophet Muhammad” was expected to gather over one million people since Chechen leader demanded mass presence via the social networks.
Participants carried placards that read “No to the cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad” and “Islam is a religion of the good and the creative.”

Protest against the publication of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad took place in eastern Afghanistan, where participants burned the flag of France. At the protest in the capital of province Nangarar, Jalalabad, protesters chanted “Death to France” and demanded the government to cut diplomatic ties with France.
