The stamps which are missing from the State Election Commission will be replaced with new ones, stated the SEC. They assured everyone that before the upcoming election, they will compile an inventory of all electoral materials to check what is missing and what doesn’t work, so everything can be corrected. According to the SEC, stamps are missing from polling stations in Sopiste, Butel, Brevenica and Lipkovo.
“This does not mean that the stamps were stolen. Perhaps they were not returned from the previous elections. However, in cases when stamps are missing or damaged from municipal election commissions or constituencies, they are declared void and new stamps are made, always different from the previous ones. Every stamp which is missing, will be replaced with a new stamp, and a new mark, which is different from the mark from the previous stamp”, stated the SEC.
