Miloshoski: We should not let the new leader become a puppet

We should not let the new leader of VMRO-DPMNE become a puppet, said the MP and a member of the Executive Committee, Antonio Miloshoski, this evening at before the start of the Executive Committee’s session at the party’s headquarters.

He also said that the demands of the party members have good intentions with the goal not to allow ” the new party leader’s name to be known in advance and elected in an undemocratic and unfair race for a party president.”

Commenting the statement by the gone party leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski that the decision for holding an extraordinary congress was done unanimously, Miloshoski said that many times he has talked to Gruevski, face to face, and there were discussions during meetings with the wider party leadership, but their suggestions were accepted declaratively.

The MP Ilija Dimovski said that he expects a rational decision after this evening’s session of the Executive Committee, where he announced that he will present the demands for a transparent election of a new president and postponement of the Congress.
