MFA: For now we will not close borders, but financial aid from the EU has still not arrived

For now, Macedonia has no intention of closing close the southern border with Greece for the migrants said from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They say that Afghan nationals who are stranded at Tabanovce, are likely to remain in the country until Serbia and Croatia resolve their dispute over the treatment of migrants from Afghanistan.

Macedonia, says the Foreign Ministry, at the beginning of the migrant crisis spent more than 10 million euros, as for the financial assistance that the European Union promised and has announced four times, has still not arrived.

According to the Macedonian Foreign Ministry, the root of the problem of the migrant crisis has three key points, that is, Turkey as the first transit destination, external borders and readmission, or to be more precise the returning of migrants who do not qualify for asylum in the EU, who follow the same route, according to Macedonian diplomats will soon likely become a serious issue.
