VMRO-DPMNE is ready and intends to respect the Przhino Agreement, which provides for the establishment of an interim government to organize elections, to pave the way out of the political crisis, said Ivo Kotevski the Director of the Center for Communications of the ruling party Ivo Kotevski to “Meta”, when asked to comment on recent announcements by the SDSM on establishing a new interim government.
“In agreement with the Przhino Agreement, which envisages the formation of an interim government to organize elections, VMRO-DPMNE is ready and intends to respect the Agreement. The elections are the cream of the Agreement and should lead the way out of the political crisis that the SDSM has plunged the country into”, said Kotevski.
However, he added that “the Przhino Agreement in no way envisages bringing the SDSM into the government without legitimacy from the citizens.”
“The Agreement had clear purposes: Ministers and Deputy – Ministers of SDSM to be part of the government which will organize elections. Unfortunately, SDSM twice now has escaped elections because of their devastating ratings in the polls and are afraid to face citizens in elections”, concluded the Director of the Center for Communications of VMRO-DPMNE.
