At today’s press conference, the Special Public Prosecutor announced that the reforms in the legal sector will allow the SPO to continue with its work beyond 2020 as part of Macedonia’s Public Prosecution.
-We are hoping that appropriate legal decisions will be made in order for this Prosecution to be transformed by 2020 and to be merged with the Public Prosecution as an independent institution to act upon cases from its jurisdiction and for pursuing high-profile criminal activities – said Janeva during the press conference during which SPO informed about seven new investigations.
She said that SPO will file other charges during the current five-year mandate if the authorized institutions find solutions that will allow that.
