In the past few days, cleaning of the sculptures of the lion monuments located at the beginning of Goce Delchev Bridge, which were painted by the “Colourful Revolution” has intensified.
Out of the four lions, two have been cleaned and the other two are currently covered in white sheets and work is in progress.
A large number of monuments and state institutions this Spring were covered in paint, a trademark from the protests organized by the “Colourful Revolution” after President Gjorgi Ivanov pardoned a large number of people, many of whom were from the ruling party and suspects in active criminal investigations.
