Greece made a payment on their MMF loan

Greece has made a payment of 186.3 million euro on their debt to the International Monetary Fund, reports the institution. By doing this Athens avoided a late payment.

This is the first time that Greece, from early June onwards, to pay on time their debt to the MMF. Athens has to pay off 22 billion euro to the international lender. The next rate of 307 million euro is due September 1.
