Embassy of the United States in Skopje calls for peacekeeping and expressed condolences for the dead and wounded in the police action in Kumanovo.
“We deeply regret the loss of life of people in police action in Kumanovo and express our condolences to the families of police officers and civilians who have been killed and wounded. We are monitoring the situation and are in constant contact with the authorities and political leaders. We appeal to the citizens to remain calm and to allow determination of the facts,” reads the statement of the US Embassy in Skopje.
