After yesterday’s protest by high school students against an overall online teaching model, the students have met with the new Minister for Education and Science, Mila Carovska, who during the two meetings with the students and their parents offered a combined teachingmodel.

“It is of the highest priority to start the school year on the 1st of October and the Government offers a combined teaching model. At the schools where the protocol models have been met, the education process can start with a physical presence, and at locations where there aren’t favorable conditions, the classes will be conducted online” wrote Minister Carovska on her Facebook profile.

Yesterday afternoon, the high school students protested in front of the Ministry of Education against the Government’s decision for a complete online education process during the school year that will start on the 1st of October. As they state, combined or hybrid learning is the most efficient way of learning during the pandemic. They propose that each municipality and school decide on their own about the safest way to conduct the teaching process.
