Zael appeals to MPs over historic duty to secure path to EU and NATO

Prime Minister Zoran Zaev has appealed to MPs telling them they have a historic duty before the citizens to secure the path of Macedonia towards stability and economic prosperity.

“All MPs have a historic duty before the citizens to secure Macedonia’s path to stability and economic prosperity. This is the road to NATO and the EU through the Macedonian-Greek agreement,” Zaev wrote on his Facebook and Twitter profile.

At yesterday’s 92nd session, the Government made a decision on the constitutional changes, that is, to submit amendments in Parliament for which it will seek support. This is happening at a time when it is not yet certain that the ground for amending the Constitution is ready, because it requires a two-thirds majority in Parliament, that is, 80 MPs.
