Zaev will be attending dinner with Mogherini and the Prime Ministers of the Western Balkans tomorrow

-

Tomorrow, the leader of SDSM, Zoran Zaev, will be travelling to Brussels to attend an informal dinner with the Prime Ministers from the Western Balkans and the High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union, Federica Mogherini, confirmed SDSM.

Last week, Mogherini sent invitations to the six Prime Ministers of the Western Balkans for dinner in Brussels, however, it wasn’t clear until today who would actually attend the dinner with the High Representative of the EU, whether it would be the interim Prime Minister, Emil Dimitriev or the SDSM leader, Zoran Zaev.

Zoran Zaev is currently mandatary to form the new government, but he is still not Prime Minister. However, the statement from Mogherini’s cabinet states that Zaev was invited in his capacity as “Prime Minister-designate”.

The meeting will mainly focus on the situation in the region after recent events and “how everyone can move forward together”.

After the meeting, there are no plans for press conferences or statements, however, Mogherini’s cabinet announced that they will release details of what was discussed.
