Zaev: VMRO-DPMNE and DUI want to avoid fair and democratic elections

-

SDSM leader Zoran Zaev, after meeting with leaders of the National Democratic Revival (NDK), Vesel Memedi and the President of the Movement for Reform – DPA Zijadin Sela said that they all shared the same view, that on April 24 there will be no elections.
Zaev said that with without a cleansed electoral roll and regulated media, elections can not be held.
“We hope that these conditions will be met, so the opposition can participate in the elections”, said Zaev.
Memedi and Sela agreed with him, who said that without solving the crucial problems in the country, elections can not be held.
When asked by Journalists, Zaev confirmed that SDSM had submitted the methodology for the cleansing of the electoral list to the SEC.
“VMRO-DPMNE and DUI intend to avoid fair and democratic elections. Now all party’s methodologies have been submitted to the SEC and the whole thing does not depend only on politicians, but by the commission, who are now obliged to renew the voters’ list and to inform the public”, said Zaev.
