Macedonia is in a serious political situation, says Zoran Zaev, SDSM leader, in an interview for the Bulgarian news agency “Focus“.
– Macedonia is currently in a tense and shocking situation that will finally bring the country on the right track. Opposition plays its role of correcting the Government, but in order to save their skin, they started arresting people. They confiscated my passport, as leader of the opposition, but they cannot escape the truth. We started with the “Truth about Macedonia” with the sole aim to restore democracy and European values in our country – stated Zaev for the agency.
Although the government says that the wiretapping was carried out by foreign offices, opposition disagrees.
– Only our government can wiretap 20 thousand citizens for more than four years. The whole process was implemented by telecommunication operators. Purity of recordings of phone conversations confirms this – said Zaev.
