“The year we leave behind will be remembered after the greatest success of the citizens of this country. Open minded citizens have freed themselves from a captive state. The change took place. Macedonia has stabilized and embarked on growth and development”, said Prime Minister Zoran Zaev in his New Year’s address to the citizens of Macedonia.
Zaev said that the key factor for creating trust is the implementation of the rule of law, as well as respect for human rights, social justice, public reports, and ensuring the full participation of all citizens in our society.
He noted that in 2018 he “is not expecting a lot of engagements, the only goal – a peaceful and quality life for the citizens”, with higher salaries, financial stabilization for the country, growth and equity, with professional and depoliticized institutions.
