Zaev has begun with meetings in Sofia, first with Borisov, then Radev

Today and tomorrow, Prime Minister Zaev, together with his government delegation will begin their two-day working visit to Bulgaria, where he will be having meetings with high ranking officials from the government and the state.

After, the Prime Minister and the Macedonian government delegation in Bulgaria will meet with the President of Bulgaria, as well as a working dinner with Bulgarian Parliament Speaker, Dimitar Glavchev.

Zaev’s meeting with President Rumen Radev is planned for 14:00 pm.

Within the government visit to Bulgaria, there will also be separate meetings between ministers from Macedonia and their colleagues from Bulgaria.

In the composition of the government delegation led by Prime Minister Zaev are Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs, Bujar Osmani, Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov, Minister of Transport and Communications, Goran Sugareski and Minister of Culture, Robert Alagjozovski.

“The strategic commitments of the Republic of Macedonia are the integration into the European Union and NATO. The realization of these goals means long-term stability and security for the citizens of Macedonia, but also for the entire region. Therefore, the support of our neighbours is of great importance, and as a responsible government we are ready to play an active part in the significant neighbourly and integrative processes”, said Prime Minister Zaev prior to the official meetings in Bulgaria.
