Zaev and Trump shake hands at the United Nations Headquarters

Today, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev met and shook hands with US President Donald Trump at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

Zaev on his Facebook page shared a picture of shaking hands with US President Trump and wrote that he gave support to Trump’s initiative through the Declaration to support the reforms proposed by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

Prime Minister Zaev, who arrived in New York yesterday and he will be staying until 23rd of September, will be present at the 72nd General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) in New York, USA.

According to the agenda, the Pime Mnister will have a working lunch with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and other bilateral meetings, including with the President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini,  with the Prime Ministers of Norway and Malta.
