The state so far paid about 16,000 euros for burial of dead immigrants.
IRC says that a burial with a plot and the rite costs around 40,000 denars. This means that the state had to pay 1,080.000 denars or about 16,000 euros for 27 immigrants.
28 immigrants coming from Nigeria, Syria, Somalia and Afghanistan were killed in separate, mostly traffic accident in Macedonia in the last few months.
So far, family claimed only one body of a deceased, and the other 27 immigrants are buried in the country. They are buried at a separate parcel on Muslim cemeteries with all usual Muslim burial rites.
Costs are paid by the state or municipalities where the immigrants are buried.
