Yesterday at the Macedonian border a total of 2032 foreign nationals passed

Yesterday at the border a total of 2032 migrants had been confirmed with asylum papers which is the expressed intention of applying for asylum as foreign national.

As announced by the Ministry of Interior, 869 of these people are men, 427 are women and 528 are children accompanied by the holder of the certificate.

208 children crossed the border travelling without a parent, and those have been issued a certificate of expressed intent to seek asylum.

According to the nationality of persons, the majority of nationals are from Syria – 901, Afghanistan – 623, and Iraq – 508.
