The President of the Parliament Talat Xhaferi has officially notified the Committee on Rules of Procedure, Mandatory – Immunity Issues that the runaway MP Nikola Gruevski is unjustifiably absent from his working place as an MP at the Parliament.
After an official notification, the President of the Committee, Pavle Bogoevski will have to call for a session where the cancelation of Gruevski’s mandate will be discussed and if the Committee makes that decision, it will be discussed at a plenary session.
The decision for calling off the former prime minister’s mandate will have to be made with a two-thirds majority i.e. the votes of 80 MPs are necessary.
