The Speaker of Parliament, Talat Xhaferi requested Parliament’s security to remove VMRO-DPMNE’s MP, Vlatko Gjorcev from the parliamentary rostrum because Gjorcev came up onto the rostrum without getting permission from the Parliament Speaker.

Since Xhaferi had repeatedly warned Gjorcev, he ordered his microphone be turned off, however, despite the microphone being off, he would not come down from the rostrum, so Xhaferi asked the parliament’s security remove the MP.

After that, a group of MPs from VMRO-DPMNE gathered around the parliamentary rostrum, in an attempt to stop security getting to Gjorcev, after which the Parliament Speaker announced a ten minute break.

Gjorcev wanted to give MPs a procedural address, however, the Speaker told Gjorcev that he had been registered to address MPs with a replica and did not give him permission to speak.

During his speech, with a turned off microphone, Gjorcev requested than an emergency session be scheduled concerning the state of the landfill in Struga.

Today, Parliament continued with its fifth session, the last item on the agenda is the election of the deputy ministers in Government.
