The Health Minister Venko Filipche informed at today’s press conference that there are no new patients infected with the corona virus and the patient that is treated is in good condition. Taking into account the increase of the number of infected people in Europe, he stressed that the prevention measures are being strengthened.
“Since the number of infected people in Europe is getting bigger every day, in accordance with the more rigorous measures by Italian authorities in the Northern part of Italy, we decided to raise the degree of control when it comes to Wizz Air passengers arriving from Milano and Venice at the Skopje airport. The passengers will be filling in certain cards where they will be leaving information in order to be located easier. The air company agreed to this and the measures will start implementing from today” said Filipche.
He said that screenings are made at all border crossings and the algorithms of the questionnaires are followed and there are interviews with the passengers.
The institutions await for instructions and recommendations by Italian health authorities and what measures will be taken. 6 март.
