Through the activities of its Ministers in key Government departments and institutions, it is becoming more and more obvious that the SDSM are preparing the ground for the upcoming early parliamentary elections, which the party leader Zoran Zaev, does not miss every given opportunity to declare that the elections must be crystal clear.
The Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski in December re-arranged the Heads of the Departments at the Ministry of Interior in Skopje, Bitola, Kumanovo, Ohrid and Veles, and in their place assigned new Directors, while at the same time he started an investigation into the illegal issuing of identity cards for residents from Pustec when the former Minister Gordana Jankulovska was in power.
On Monday this week, his colleague at the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, Frosina Remenski dismissed 15 Directors from centres for social work, including the Director of the Home for Infant Orphans in Bitola.
Ms Remesnki at a press conference, when asked by the media whether the resolution of Directors should be interpreted as some kind of cleansing of the Ministry to prepare the grounds for elections, she said that she did not want to get into whose party belongs to who of the citizens or the dismissal of Directors, however there is a doubt that these decisions were party coordinated.
Apart from Skopje, investigations into the illegal issuing of identity cards to the residents of Pustec stretches as far as sectors of the MOI in Bitola, Veles, Ohrid and Kumanovo, who now, all have new Diretors, after they were changed in late December of last year by the Minister of Interior, Oliver Spasovski “Meta” has learnt.
According to our sources, one of the reasons for the changes of Heads, was because at the time when the Heads of the Ministry of Interior personnel were from the VMRO-DPMNE, they were preparing the ground for the issuing of identity cards during the elections in 2013 and 2014.
