About 5000 migrants who entered Macedonia yesterday, left this morning by taxis, buses, minibuses and are reaching Serbia in steady numbers, reports the media from there.
Around 2000 migrants have arrived in the reception center in Preshevo, finds out RTS from unofficial information. According to reports, there is a crowd of people in and around the center , but the migrants are waiting patiently and in good order. Once they obrain the required documents they will head towards Belgrade.
The government of Macedonia opened the border and removed the police cordons after they were penetrated several times during the day, allowing around 4000 migrants to cross. Jasmin Redzepi of the NGO Legis commented last night that more than 50 buses full with migrants left Gevgelija and headed to Serbia. Part of the migrants walked towards the train station in the small town in the south of Macedonia.
A reporter from RTS reported of a large crowd on the train station in Gevgelija. According to him, the 4:30 train that was supposed to head to Tabanovce, on the Macedonia-Serbia border, did not arrive.
