People’s Movement for Macedonia (NDM) and the VMRO-DPMNE party will be submitting lists of candidates for deputies who will certainly participate in the elections if held on June 5. The NDM have already submitted their lists to the State Election Commission (SEC), while the ruling party is expected to do so this afternoon, reported some of the media.
The party’s director of communications , Ivo Kotevski, says the Executive and Central Committee of VMRO-DPMNE late Monday concluded that there is no greater priority than respecting the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Macedonia.
“Members of the two bodies decided the party will submit lists of candidates today for parliamentary elections scheduled for June 5. The Executive and Central Committee established the composition of the list after completing all formalities within the legal time-frame, and then they will be handed over to the SEC. The Executive and Central Committee of the party also decided to support the participation of the negotiating team of the VMRO-DPMNE in the process of finding a way out of the crisis which SDSM has plunged Macedonia into”, said Kotevski.
DUI said it definitely will not submit candidate lists for the election of MPs and confirmed that the SDSM will not submit any lists, nor will the DPA.
