A delegation from the VMRO-DPMNE will attend the meeting of leaders of the four biggest parties in Macedonia to find a way out of the crisis, in Vienna on Friday which has been organized by the International Community.
The party confirmed that they received the invitation from the three MEPs Ivo Vajgl, Eduard Kukan and Richard Howitt, which was sent to the leaders of the VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski, the SDSM leader Zoran Zaev, the DUI leader Ali Ahmeti and the DPA leader Menduh Thaci .
The ruling party did not say which officials will be members of the delegation.
The SDSM told “Meta” they will begin wider consultations within the coalition, but also with non-governmental organizations that are part of the movement “I protest” regarding their participation at the meeting.
The final decision whether they will participate in talks in Vienna and on what agenda will be made in the next few days after consultations with political partners and non-governmental organizations.
The meeting in Vienna is scheduled to be attended by EU Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn, EU Ambassador Aivo Orav and the US Ambassador to Macedonia Jess Baily.
